Individual Counseling
My education and training as a marriage and family therapist focused on relationships. So, today, when I engage with individuals in counseling, I try to understand where a person fits within their different interpersonal systems – be it their families of origin, adult intimate relationships, current nuclear (or extended) families, or even their work organizations. While there are many personal issues my clients and I have worked on over the years, what tends to bring people into my office to begin with, are their personal relationships. Also, my years practicing law have permitted me a valuable prism through which I can understand the struggles of lawyers.
